Soboho is rooted in a simple idea: India has incredible fabrics, stories and ways of making — and they deserve to be worn in new ways.

We bring together fabrics and influences from different parts of India and translate them into contemporary clothing that feels easy, relevant and distinctly our own.

The name Soboho is a meeting of two things that have shaped us. South Bombay, where we grew up, with its old-world charm, changing streets, art, architecture and wonderfully mixed-up sense of style. And so-bohemian — a little free-spirited, curious and unconcerned with fitting neatly into a box.

We care about what goes into our clothes. We look for good, beautiful fabrics, work towards thoughtful sourcing and believe that the way a garment is made matters just as much as how it looks. We want to create pieces that feel considered without feeling precious, and made to be lived in rather than simply worn once.

Because at the heart of Soboho is a woman we know well.

She is resilient and ambitious, but never too busy to dream. She has a career she cares about, a life she is building, and a soft spot for good coffee, books, plants, art and all the little things that make life richer.
